Econsultancy launches new website following work with Webcredible
Webcredible, the user experience consultancy, has worked with Econsultancy on its redesigned website, turning its top level requirements into a detailed information architecture for the brand new website and subsequently conducting usability testing. The project has been key in allowing Econsultancy to roll-out a new site with a revamped membership section, offering its users the best possible user experience.
Webcredible's information architecture project involved taking a brief from Econsultancy on its business requirements and technical constraints, designing wireframes for various sections of the site including membership, events and reports, and working collaboratively with developers to build the site. Webcredible then also carried out usability testing on the new sections, consisting of 6 participants performing various tasks throughout the site, with recommendations made based on the results.
Founded in 1999, Econsultancy is a global community of digital marketing and ecommerce professionals and a leading source of independent information and advice on these sectors. Webcredible's wireframe designs and usability testing has helped Econsultancy to create a redesigned site that best serves the needs of its 80,000+ members.
Ashley Friedlein, founder and CEO of Econsultancy comments, “The re-launch of the Econsultancy website has been a major project for our organisation. The website is the key focal point for our community to get involved in our events and training and get the information and advice they need, so it is crucial that it is a usable as possible. Working with Webcredible has helped us produce a new website that meets all these requirements.”
Webcredible was selected by Econsultancy for this project based on its previous track record in the user experience industry.
