Webcredible launches first CMS to guarantee accessible web pages

Usability and accessibility consultancy Webcredible will unveil the first accessible content management system (CMS) from stand W380 at this year's Internet World event. The unique CMS incorporates a variety of technologies that ensure all web pages produced by brand managers and content editors are highly accessible and compliant to Level AAA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

In addition, the accessible CMS software:

  • Is highly intuitive and easy to use
  • Ensures web pages are highly optimised for search engines
  • Has advanced AJAX functionality enhancing the user experience and ease of use (with accessible, non-JavaScript alternatives available)
  • Is designed with accessibility in mind, so any employees with special needs can use it

Also at Internet World, Trenton Moss, director at Webcredible, will be speaking in the conference programme at 12.30pm on Thursday 3rd May. His seminar will focus on how brands can increase conversion rates online and he will highlight the golden rules of providing a great online shopping experience, drawing on best practice examples.

Trenton Moss said: “Our revolutionary CMS goes beyond merely allowing accessible web pages to be produced. Because the unique software actually guarantees that both accessible code and accessible content are produced, brands can be confident their websites will meet the needs of the 8.6 million people that are registered with disabilities in the UK.”
