We’ve been Olympics crazy this month at Webcredible. Everyone has been getting in the Olympic spirit, getting excited about the medals won by their countries and we all have new favourite sports – you can see some great snapshots of the Webcredible teams out and about and at the Olympics on our Pinterest ’out and about’ board! As commuting hasn’t been anywhere near as bad as we thought either, all in all we are really going to miss the Olympics when they finish on Sunday. On the plus side though, we then get the Paralympics to distract us.
Along side the Olympics and our summer holiday stories we have been really busy in July on client projects. We’re so busy that we are growing our consulting team and a number of fantastic UX consultants have joined us and are already knee deep in testing, research and design projects. No gentle welcome here but they’re all already part of the family. We are still looking for a few more people to join our ranks, including a Senior UX consultant and a visual designer. We only recruit people with great personalities and passion – if that’s you, then check out our careers page and send us your CV to uxjobs@webcredible.co.uk!
We’ve also been out and about a lot this month!
- We sponsored UXCampLondon this year, which is a great forum for sharing, learning and innovating in the UX space. Our senior UX consultant Alex was joined by Yeevon and Rich at the event, you can read their highlights from the day to get a quick view of the best bits!
- I presented a quick fire presentation on mobile user experience at Figaro Digital’s Digital Marketing Conference, which was a great day of insight into the trends in digital marketing.
Finally, we have released our latest industry report! Our mCommerce user experience report is ready for you to download for free. It’s a great report and a must read for anyone working on a mobile strategy or proposition. It is based on in-depth research into the natural behaviours of consumers to analyse the important factors to consider when designing mobile interactions to deliver the best experience.
