PR & marketing manager job vacancy
Webcredible is recruiting! We're looking for a PR & marketing manager to join our friendly team on a permanent basis in London, UK. We've had a PR agency for the past 2 years and are now looking to bring this in-house, so you'll obviously need to have a strong background in PR.
We have a full understanding of how PR works so you'll receive all necessary resources and support in your role. In fact, PR has been at the centre of Webcredible's marketing and business strategy since inception. We therefore see this position as key to our continued growth and development.
About the job
You'll be fully responsible for the company PR and marketing strategy, from conception all the way through to execution. This is a senior role in the company, with you reporting directly to a company director.
You will:
- Create, manage and execute the PR and marketing strategy so that it's fully inline with the company strategy
- Ensure press coverage for our white papers, articles, online polls, customer win announcements etc.
- Put us forward for comment in features in our target media
- Organise events for and meetings with journalists
- Seek out and put us forward as speakers at industry events
- Manage the content and strategy for our website (8000+ visitors per day) and newsletter (16,000+ subscribers)
- Market our articles online so other websites republish them
- Find appropriate events, seminars and conferences for us to exhibit and have a presence at

About you
You'll have reached the level of at least senior account manager or account director and will need to demonstrate to us that you have:
- Digital/IT PR experience, excellent press contacts and a solid knowledge of journalistic practices
- Contacts in the trade and national / local business press
- A proven track record of generating top quality coverage
- Experience of both offline and online PR
- Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills
It's also really important that you:
- Are a self-starter that can plan for, set up and run PR campaigns
- Enjoy working on both a strategic and hands-on basis
- Want to work in-house so you can really get to know the business and its goals
