What will I learn on the CSS course?
Our intermediate CSS training is fully based around the principle of learning-by-doing. During the one-day interactive training course you will:
- Learn the building blocks of CSS
- Improve your understanding of ids, classes & elements
- Learn how to better construct selectors & read them using our simple-to-follow rules
- Use the box model to clarify the difference between margins and padding
- Gain a better understanding of text sizing and improve your ability to style text using some of the less familiar text styling commands
- Learn how to position imagery correctly and create curved corners on boxes
- Know how to layout an entire page using positioning, improve your understanding of positioning and the subtle differences between positioning types
- Get to grips with navigation, including how to modify the display property of elements and learn best practices when using the display command
- Learn how to create a print stylesheet
- Have an excellent understanding of fundamental CSS principles
Our intermediate CSS training courses are relatively small (maximum 10 participants) due to their interactive nature and are informal and fun.
All training materials and an 80-page intermediate CSS training manual (containing all tutorials) are included. You also get very well fed whilst you're here - we provide light breakfast snacks, a buffet-style lunch with hot & cold canapés and refreshments throughout the day.

Our training facilities

Our CSS courses are all run at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London.
All our training is run in a bright airy room with each person having access to a PC. You can also use our break-out area during breaks and lunch where refreshments are provided throughout the day.
