Intermediate CSS course duration & details
The course lasts for 1 day (10:00-17:00) and takes place at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London. You will:
- Receive all training materials and an 80-page intermediate CSS manual (containing all tutorials)
- Get very well fed whilst you're here - we provide light breakfast snacks, a buffet-style lunch with hot & cold canapés and refreshments throughout the day.
- Attend a relatively small (maximum 10 participants) intermediate CSS course that's interactive, informal and fun
What you'll learn on the intermediate CSS course
Our intermediate CSS training is fully based around the principle of learning-by-doing. During the one-day interactive training course you will:
- Learn the building blocks of CSS
- Improve your understanding of ids, classes & elements
- Learn how to better construct selectors & read them using our simple-to-follow rules
- Use the box model to clarify the difference between margins and padding
- Gain a better understanding of text sizing and improve your ability to style text using some of the less familiar text styling commands
- Learn how to position imagery correctly and create curved corners on boxes
- Know how to layout an entire page using positioning, improve your understanding of positioning and the subtle differences between positioning types
- Get to grips with navigation, including how to modify the display property of elements and learn best practices when using the display command
- Learn how to create a print stylesheet
- Have an excellent understanding of fundamental CSS principles
Who is the intermediate CSS course for?
This course is particularly suitable if you are:
- Self-taught at CSS and are looking to formalise your knowledge
- Working as a content editor and looking to develop your CSS skills into this area
- Looking to learn what CSS is from an introductory standpoint
At a minimum, you'll need to understand the basics of CSS and how to write out simple CSS commands (e.g. to change font size or colours).

Originally from a design background and with a vast experience of large scale design and development projects, Paul is able to expertly combine creativity with technical expertise.
Our training facilities

Our CSS courses are all run at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London.
All our training is run in a bright airy room with each person having access to a PC. You can also use our break-out area, with refreshments provided throughout the day.
