Google Analytics course duration & details

The course lasts for 1 day (10:00-17:00) and takes place at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London. You will:

  • Receive all training materials and an 80-page Google Analytics manual (containing all tutorials)
  • Get very well fed whilst you're here - we provide light breakfast snacks, a buffet-style lunch with hot & cold canapés and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Attend a relatively small (maximum 10 participants) Google Analytics course that's interactive, informal and fun

What you'll learn on the Google Analytics course

Our Google Analytics training is fully based around the principle of learning-by-doing. During the one-day interactive training course you will:

  • Discover the world of web analytics, what it is exactly, why you should use it and how to get maximum benefit
  • Learn how to use the new interface including the dashboard and advanced segments
  • Understand the best metrics to measure and why
  • Find out precisely how to get the most from your data in Google Analytics
  • Understand how to create funnels and goals for your analytics
  • Discover how to evaluate the data - visits, visitors, bounce rates and traffic sources
  • Learn how to use all the reports and create your own using custom reporting
  • Find out some common troubleshooting tips, working through meaningful examples
  • Acquire a deep understanding of how to understand and interpret exactly what users are doing on your site.

We also have an advanced Google Analytics training course which usually takes place the day after the Google Analytics course.

Who is the Google Analytics training for?

This course is particularly suitable if you are:

  • Working as an analyst or marketer and you want to get a better grasp of which reports to use and how to use the data
  • Looking to improve your marketing strategy or on-page content and navigation, as well as record goals

You don't need any previous knowledge of the tool beforehand although many people that attend are self-taught to a basic level and want to fill in the gaps. It's helpful if you already have a Google Analytics login and admin access to your company's account as the course will enable you to use and see the full range of benefits available to your organisation.

Support after your Google Analytics training

Our online Webcredible training community on LinkedIn provides on-going support after the course. We invite you to join the Alumni group in order to:

  • Interact directly with our e-learning community, expert trainers and fellow students
  • Get regular updates, tips and engage with us on our live chats and webinars
  • Join in with discussions or ask questions to help you progress your learning once you're back in your working environment
