The jQuery training is part of our web development training stream of 5 courses - get a 10% or 20% discount when you book on any 2 or 3+ different courses respectively.

jQuery course duration & details

The course lasts for 1 day (10:00-17:00) and takes place at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London. You will:

  • Receive all training materials and an 80-page jQuery manual (containing all tutorials)
  • Get very well fed whilst you're here - we provide light breakfast snacks, a buffet-style lunch with hot & cold canapés and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Attend a relatively small (maximum 10 participants) jQuery course that's interactive, informal and fun

What you'll learn on the jQuery course

Our jQuery training is fully based around the principle of learning-by-doing. During the one-day interactive training course you will:

  • Discover how to get up and running with jQuery and get your head around the syntax (if you can do CSS you can do jQuery)
  • Find out all about the different types of selectors
  • Learn all the different techniques for how to traverse through the Document Object Model (DOM)
  • Create events that respond to user interactions (clicking, focus)
  • Learn the many ways of manipulating HTML
  • Create simple animations
  • Learn how to use jQuery to create innovative & interactive JavaScript functionality

Who is the jQuery course for?

This course is particularly suitable if you are:

  • Looking to learn about jQuery from scratch but have had some exposure to Javascript
  • Working as a designer or programmer and want to broaden your knowledge in this area

Originally from a design background and with a vast experience of large scale design and development projects, Paul is able to expertly combine creativity with technical expertise.

Our training facilities

Our jQuery courses are all run at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London.

All our training is run in a bright airy room with each person having access to a PC. You can also use our break-out area, with refreshments provided throughout the day.
