The course lasts for 1 day (10:00-17:00) and takes place at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London. You will:

  • Receive all training materials and an 80-page social media for the 3rd sector manual (containing all tutorials)
  • Get very well fed whilst you're here - we provide light breakfast snacks, a buffet-style lunch with hot & cold canapés and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Attend a relatively small (maximum 10 participants) social media for the 3rd sector course that's interactive, informal and fun

  • Learn how to manage and monitor your follows/followers and be alerted whenever people tweet something related to what you do
  • Know how to track relevant keywords and hashtags, write tweets that will attract attention from your target audience and understand how to engage with other Twitter users
  • Discover how to inform and educate your audience about your cause
  • Learn social media etiquette - how to encourage followers to engage with you and tell their followers about you
  • Understand how to use Twitter as a reputation management tool & integrate it with your overall marketing strategy
  • Learn how to create a LinkedIn profile that sells you and gets you introduced to donors, integrating add-ons such as skills, publications, blog posts, videos etc.
  • Understand how to post updates and share articles that will boost your credibility, increasing the number of connections you have
  • Be able to find LinkedIn groups that may include potential donors as well as supporters
  • Use LinkedIn to identify corporate and individual donors, and use your shared contacts to get referrals to them
  • Be shown how to integrate LinkedIn with your long term marketing strategy

The training will also cover other tools to use in conjunction with LinkedIn and Twitter: Google News and Google Reader, YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, Pinterest and blogs.

Our training facilities
