Usability testing training

- Courses usually have a maximum of 10 participants due to their interactive nature
We usually run our usability testing training the day after our web usability training and two days after our writing for the web training course, so you may wish to come on two or three courses. Book the same person on to two courses at the same time and get a 10% discount or book three courses and get a 20% discount! Our next course dates are:
- Wednesday 21st May 2008 (4 places available)
- Wednesday 25th June 2008 (6 places available)

Usability testing trainer
The usability testing training is run by Webcredible's Head of Usability, Lisa Halabi. Lisa is an accomplished usability specialist and founding member of the Usability Professionals Association UK chapter. With almost 10 years usability experience, she's incredibly passionate about usability, talking to anyone she can about it. She additionally holds a Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction.
Usability testing training philosophy
Our usability testing training follows one basic principle:
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime
Chinese proverb
Put simply, we don't want to do all the usability testing for you - we want you to be able to do it by yourself, again and again in the future. The usability testing training lasts for one full day, during which time you'll complete a series of exercises designed for you to discover the answers by yourself and then put into practice what you've learnt.
By the end of the day, you'll have acquired a deep understanding of how to plan, prepare, run and analyse usability testing sessions. As a result of our hands-on usability testing training, you'll have:
- Confidence in carrying out your own usability tests
- A deeper understanding of your new knowledge
- Ownership of what you've learnt
