Web usability course duration & details
The course lasts for 1 day (10:00-17:00) and takes place at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London. You will:
- Receive all training materials and an 80-page usability manual (containing all tutorials)
- Get very well fed whilst you're here - we provide light breakfast snacks, a buffet-style lunch with hot & cold canapés and refreshments throughout the day.
- Attend a relatively small (maximum 10 participants) usability course that's interactive, informal and fun
What you'll learn on the usability course
Our web usability training is fully based around the principle of learning-by-doing. During the one-day interactive training course you will:
- Learn how to identify and implement usability enhancements to your website
- Receive practical, wide-ranging sets of usability guidelines and advice
- Discover how to make forms, search, navigation and error messages offer outstanding usability
- Find out how to practice user-centred design (UCD) methods, techniques and processes (including usability testing and card sorting)
- Evaluate your site's usability
- Learn how to sell usability within your organisation
- Be shown how to continue your learning after the web usability training is finished

Yeevon Ooi
Yeevon is a Lead User Experience Consultant at Webcredible. Her areas of expertise include carrying out user research, conducting usability testing and in-depth interviews, as well as delivering interaction design projects that involve stakeholder analysis, conceptual design and creating wireframes. She holds a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics from UCL and a degree in Psychology.
Alex Baxevanis
Alex is a Senior Consultant at Webcredible and has extensive experience running a range of user research and design projects. He specialises in coming up with innovative design solutions to offer highly accessible, engaging and interactive user experiences. He also regularly writes articles, runs training courses and presents at industry events.
Our training facilities
Our web usability courses are all run at our purpose-built training centre at the Webcredible offices in London.
All our training is run in a bright airy room with each person having access to a PC. You can also use our break-out area, with refreshments provided throughout the day.
