Textual description of Click Here monster
The comic strip is made up of three panes:
- The Click Here monster is shooting lasers out of its eyes and its three mechanical arms are flailing all over the place. The monster is made of metal. There are two young men both screaming for help. “Help! Click Here is ruining my web experience!” shouts one. The other exclaims, in a state of fear, “Help! Click Here link text is making it hard to find information!”
- Dr Webcredible is monitoring the Click Here monster through a TV screen. “Click Here is meaningless - especially to screen reader users” he grimaces. Hyperlink and Webcrawler are running in the background and both have comments of their own: “Users can't tell from Click Here text where the link will take them,” says Hyperlink. Webcrawler exclaims, “Oh no! It's the Click Here link text!”
- The intrepid trio are destroying the Click Here monster. Webcrawler has ripped off his head and Dr Webcredible is attacking one of the monster's flailing arms. All three are screaming, “Use descriptive link text!”
